How I use my Purposeful Planner

Hey there planner peeps!

Today I want to show you how I plan and decorate within my Purposeful Planner. I was gifted this planner from a fellow local planner addict here in Hawaii. I was amazed at the daily layout and how much this planner offers upon one page.

As you can see within the two photos, I LOVE to use stickers and washi tape to bring my planner to life. On the left side of the page, I tend to write my daily schedule (which seems to be repetitive through out the week). I like to fill in the blank spaces on the schedule side with small things that I need to do, especially if I have to get it done by a certain time. On the right hand side I like to write down my to do list for the day and/or any reminders I have for myself. I LOVE to change it up from time to time with stickers and washi tape.img_20160903_172253.jpg

For my weekend “spreads” I like to still write down my schedule (if I have an appointment or event to attend). The weekend layout (Saturday & Sunday) is different from the weekday layout. As you can see in the photo to the right, both Saturday and Sunday share a page. I kind of wish that they didn’t just in case I have LOTS to do over the weekend.

Due to the size of this planner I don’t really carry it around with me. I usually do my layout the night before and leave it on my computer desk.
