Hey there planner peeps!

All good things must come to an end.

I’ve realized that in life, no matter how you feel about certain situations you’re just going to have to let it go. I was fortunate enough to be a part of something that I thought was going to be HUGE in the Hawaii planner community.

In May of 2015 the “Oahu Planner Girls” name was originally thought of by a Hawaii planner addict. It wasn’t until March/April of 2016 when the name caught notice from other planner girls in the community. I was approached in seek of advice and assistance with an upcoming planner event and given my experience with previous ladies within the Hawaii Planner Community I was a tad bit hesitant to assist. After being reassured that we shared the same common interest of being alienated by a certain group of planner girls, I thought I found a friend.

The planner events were scheduled and things were moving, they were moving quickly. Two other planner addicts then joined in on the fun and “the Oahu Planner Girls” were introduced. Like any other group/relationship out there in the world there were disagreements. After two planner events, countless hours of prepping, research, emails, phone calls. Days and hours spent promoting and seeking out new ventures and opportunities for OPG (Oahu Planner Girls). The original member decided that it was best suited that all the ladies part ways and she takes on OPG on her own. Unfortunately there was nothing that could be said nor done to change her mind. Although I am the only person who was officially removed from the team, it still breaks my heart knowing that something I worked hard on was immediately take from me without consideration.

It’s been about two weeks now since the departure. I have moved on and am currently seeking out new opportunities elsewhere. But from time to time I still get planner addicts asking me about current and future events going on with OPG and I must say it is sad to continue to say that I’m no longer within their planning group nor an admin.

I wish nothing but the best for The Oahu Planner Girls with their future endeavors.

Happy Planning,
